If you want to make reasonable income from affiliate marketing, then you'll have to forget all the "get rich quick" hype out there and start doing the right stuff.

If you choose to do the right thing in your affiliate marketing efforts, you'll not set up today and start earning a ton of cash tomorrow. It is most likely it will take months before you make a reasonable income.

If that makes you feel bad, then you've been deceived. You can make money within a week but if you intend to make this generate a good income, you'll have to do a lot of work. And even if you can do all the work in a day, the results won't start coming in a day.

Give yourself time. You need to connect with your visitors and when you connect with them, you need to build a great relationship and then you need to check out the products and/or services you intend to promote.

Doing these takes time. If you stick with the right process, you'll get results with time. And the best part about this model (affiliate business) is that once you start getting results, you don't need to do a lot to keep getting the results. It's getting to that stage that is the issue.

You can pay for ads and make sales within your first week but unless you sell a high paying and high converting product, you won't make enough for it to be worth your time.

I once spent some money for ads and got good commissions within three days. The only problem was that I spent about the same amount I made.

That's not good business. If you must build something of value, you'd have to give yourself time and while you give yourself time, stick with a proven process for affiliate business success.
