Broke, hate your job or need a change? Well survey after survey seems to say yes to all three questions. But do people retire rich, get the job of their dreams or make any significant changes in their life? The survey says, no. Well we are going to talk about one of those three. The one I think will help the most is the one that pays the best. The job of your dreams.

Work, ah that dirty four-letter word. Even if you are a beggar on the street you still need to be there and ask for money. You can sell your book, but you still need to write it and promote it. Lets face it we are going to have to do something with some of our day and that is normally called "work." If you are smart and think a bit about it you can get wealthy doing it.

Most people call what it takes to become wealthy "work." I remember when I was building my wealth I did work very hard, but the work I was doing I enjoyed a lot. It was something I actually wanted to be doing and they paid me for it at the same time and they paid me a lot. This is a perfect situation, one you can eventually get yourself into.

Harvey Mackay says, "Find something you love to do and you'll never have to work a day in your life." My good friend Larry Arrance told me when he left one industry to start in a new career he was making a third of what he normally made but was three times happier. The money improved as he did and he is now one of the greatest advocates for people finding work they love.

Do what very few people in this world do make a plan. Look ahead a few years (or longer if you can) and see where you can take your skills to fulfill a job that you like and can pay you a ton of money. This is the surest way to win the lottery, because when you get up looking forward to going to work and knowing you are going to make a bunch of money, that’s a great day indeed.
