Did you ever in your life think that you would be better off if you could tell your boss to stuff it? Did you ever think that maybe you should have had your own business ? Maybe making some money on the internet or doing some internet marketing research. Selling information products, for example, seems to be a profitable Marketing on the Internet Opportunity.

It seems that tons of people are making an attempt at Internet Marketing either through promotions using a Pay Per Click Service or Using Ebay as a way to set up and do some business. Both of these methods are valid. Money can be made. You can promote your own product or someone else's product. Either way can work.

There is another way to make money on the Internet. It is less expensive than pay per click and is sometimes a lot of fun as well. Some call it " Bum Marketing" ...... That may be an accurate description!

It is really quite simple. Find a niche that you can identify as one where people have a need or a problem. See if there is a product to solve the problem either your own or someone else's. Research the product so that you are an expert on the topic. Do a keyword research to see if there is actually people looking for a solution to their problem.( there are tools for this on the Internet . free) Check to see if the Internet has people who are already servicing this market. If all this checks out and you are sure there is a viable opportunity, then and only then is when you do this:

Write a review of the product or service that you have settled on. Since you are an expert now, you will be able to write a very good review that speaks about the product. This review should be posted as a Blog and should not be a lengthy expose on how smart you are.

"Just the Facts, Ma'am, just the facts"

Best practice is to write on your Note Pad or Word Pad, then copy and paste to the Blog.

Then you PING it .. I think pingomatic.com is a site that can do this for you.

After that you can write an article.. that's what your are reading here. Post this on Ezinearticles.com and then if all goes well it will get picked up by webmasters for it's contents and if you use the resource section well, your links will go with the content and you could do some business.

Is this a good idea ? Are you wondering that? Well sure it is. It costs you nothing. And you have learned about an Internet Marketing Idea that you knew nothing about. And you stand a good chance of doing some business down the line.

The reason some call this Bum Marketing is because it is so inexpensive ( cost nothing) to do. One guy on the Internet said he could take a Bum off the street and teach him how to do this and the Bum could earn some real money..

Bottom line here... writing articles rich in keywords and content and writing reviews submitted to Blogs and pinging them are both very very good ideas.

Plus it provides good reading for some of us !
