When you talk about the heartland of America, you are talking about Kansas. Here are the top Kansas RV facilities in this laid back state.

When people think of Kansas as a vacation destination, they may not have a lot to picture. Unfortunately, many people have not had the experience of visiting this interesting and diverse state, which is a lot more than just a spot for tornadoes. Kansas offers visitors wide open spaces and the unique Flint Hills – a seemingly magical place with rolling green hills and beauty beyond compare. The quirky little spots around Kansas also make it great to see – and with an RV, you can easily enjoy them all.

Staying at one of the many Kansas RV facilities is a great way to enjoy the convenience of your RV while traveling throughout the state. If you prefer the great outdoors to more city-like pursuits, there are RV facilities attached to many of the State Parks sprinkled throughout the state. If you would rather be close to all the action, there are also private parks available for your stays that are located nearer to metropolitan areas. Many of Kansas's parks also accommodate groups of RV's , so the state makes a great location to get together with family and friends.

If you are planning to visit the historic area of Abilene, Kansas, there is one park that you should take a look at: the Four Seasons RV Acres located right in Abilene. This 85 site park offers several amenities that will make your stay here both pleasant and relaxing, and the park itself is AAA (American Automobile Association) rated for quality. There are 35 pull-thrus (with a maximum length of 60 feet), and both 30 and 50 AMP electric is available. A host of other features, including phone, cable and Internet service, a laundry room and showers make this a perfect family spot.

The Kansas City area is also a popular spot for vacationers, and one of the Kansas RV facilities located here is the Rutlader Outpost RV Park, in Louisberg, Kansas. This park is very local to the city, yet far enough away to enjoy the solitude of the great outdoors. There are 72 total sites, with 24 pull-thrus, and all of the sites have full hookups (water and electric). This is a pet friendly park, with Internet access and a bathhouse and laundry room.

All throughout the state of Kansas, there are many different sights and activities that are perfect for family get-togethers and special trips. This state offers much more than flat plains and farmland – there are many different nature activities for everyone in the family.
